Ever thought of being in the wardrobe department for production houses in the future?

Think again.

HEH

So here's the thing, I joined the wardrobe department for this production titled "Endless Day".
It's a film about love during a war between the Japanese, British and Chinese.
It's not a really known production house (maybe to me la) but since all we need to contribute are a few days and some sweat in exchange for $$ and hopefully a good record in my portfolio, why not?

Seems like a pretty good deal right.... just arrange some few clothes and all's done...not.

We were given really thick brand new Japanese soldiers outfit and we had to make them look as though it has endured 5 years of war O.O

The main lead had the highest degree of damage and we had to create holes to make it seem more realistic. And the whole uniform had to be totally worn out.

The recent Saturday 10am-5pm was my first day and it was no easy feat i swear. Damn tiring and sweaty and dirty! Somemore, only 3 girls doing the tasks, wondergirls siaaa. But good la, can lose arm fats.

Damaging clothes is definitely a first for me...

The uniforms! Huge ones and a lot of details to cover.. look at the black thingy there (the sandpaper)

Hard at work

Don't we look oh-so-cool?

Anyway, Hayley showed me this just now

Really really true and meaningful
