The past 4 days were rather well-spent!
Since the start of the self-declared holidays, I have been going out every single day.
So let's rewind back to monday....
MONDAY national day
Went for Sinyee's birthday picnic at Fort Canning Park in the afternoon.
It's been ages since I last went there (for primary sch

ool excursions) and well, it still looks the same. Trees, plants and more TREES and EVEN MORE TREES. Well, we saw a couple of chickens (what in the world are they doing there?!) and squirrels!!
Me and Hayley met the rest at a later time and it was hilarious to see a small group of them sitting down in the middle of nowhere. It was a rather relax picnic, monopoly deal and food.
But as they were playing, Me Hayley and Chandhini decided to take a stroll under the deadly heat and just ketchup with each other.
So after that, we headed over to PasirRis park to meet the bandies for BBQ.
Heard that this year's fireworks was going to be awesome but decided to give it a miss :(
cause BBQ food was more tempting LOL
But, i only ate 4 prawns and a half-cooked chicken! DAMNZXZXZ
nehmind, at least have fun people around which made the night better!
So, since it was start of the wooo~wooo~ (ghosts) festival, it was better to reach home before 12. I was freaking paranoid when walking back home. Kept imaging that there were those around then keep saying sorry whenever i felt like i stepped on something that i should not step on. But ah, better be safe than sorry.
TUESDAY
Met Calista at Kranji MRT in the late afternoon. We planned to hang out and chillax for a while before heading down to Mediacorp for Entertainment on 5 ( Kuijien!!!!! :):):):)). Well, you should know the real reason why we wanted to go yehhhh ^^
Walked around IMM and we got lost -.- while searching for burger king.
Either we two really mei-you-nao, or the designer of IMM sucks big time.
Took a cab down from SP and immediately regretted wasting money on taxi fare because we had to queue and wait for a bloody long time. before we could enter the studio. WALAO.
But, all irritation and impatience disappeared the moment we saw one of the cutest guys!
My impression of Kuijien: Cute but not too humorous (based on the episodes that ive watched)
Oh boy, how wrong i was. Not only was he CUTE but he was super COMICAL! He made funny faces, he had random actions, and just so adorable awwwww heheheh but he's married so um ya. After the recording, we rushed down to take a picture with him DUH no hesitation at all please
MAJOR CUTENESS!!!! AHHHH
Wait look closely...what's that thingy at my back? HIS HANDS!! HAHAHAHA
Ok stop julie.
And so, I went back home feeling satisfied :)
WEDNESDAY
It was the rehearsal of the YOG opening ceremony and Hui Yi had free tickets so Ziana and me went with her :D
It was going to start at 7.30pm but being naturally kaisu, we reached the floating bay at 5.30pm.
There is one thing that i felt incredibly lame.
We entered from the arrow on the left. But instead of allowing us to just walk straight ahead to the floating platform. They made us walk one HUGE round, up the hill and down through the helix bridge. The best thing was, it was still raining and i am scared of walking fast for fear that i may fall. Especially since i was wearing slippers.
Such torture.
So we reached our seats and had to endure the rain in our cute little ponchos for about 2 hours. Now i am wondering how we managed to while away the time.....
The performance was pretty good and the high factor(for Ziana) was when Steve Appleton appeared. HAHA she went crazy i swear.
And there was also a time when all 200 countries name were slowly being read. My gosh, a long long time. There were cheers for Spain, Argentina (must be from soccer fans huh), Malaysia but the loudest was for Singapore! Made me so proud to be a Singaporean, really :)
Now a bit lazy to write about yesterday, so i am gonna end here!
Today will be a productive day with less comp and procrastination and more studying done.
