I still remember new year's eve two years back; Playing hide and seek at Wheelock's place, Takashimaya.
And new year's eve a year back; Watching the fireworks at marina bay after a picnic at botanics.
Well, this new year's eve was something different. No fireworks and no hide and seek.
The day started with us hanging over at Eli's house just watching a show Date Night followed by dinner at Pastamania. I love it when everybody get together, very warm feeling :)
Headed down to Settlers at SMU and things started getting a bit crazy haha. Played the PENIS game while on the way day and I swear it was super embarrassing. We had to take turn saying the word "penis" louder that the previous person. And yeah, people turned to stare. C'mon it's new years eve! It should be memorable.....
Stayed 1 hour day and took a long time deliberating where to go next. All impromptu activities ah.. Debating on fireworks or just a nice chatting session at a pub.. so in the end, Clarke Quay here we come!
The crowd was a surprise to me. There were a lot a lot of people there since there was thing count down thingy hosted by Daniel Ong in the middle of Clarke Quay area (where all the pubs and bars are). Searched damn long for a place to sit but failed D: Then we spotted seats at the clinic bar- we were like so happy finally can rest and then, they told us you must spend a minimum of $250 to sit there O_O WTH?
Okay, NEXT.
walked and walked and randomly approached this wine bar and restaurant called Vintry and holaaaaaa, there were seats! Just nice for 7 people too WOOOO. Ordered this mock tail named Shirley Temple instead of the other one called PUSSY FOOT HAHAHAH it was damn funny when Elijah ordered that. A bit awkward ah :\
A number of incident happened- Chand spilled her beer and broke the cup, A drunkard approached our table, danced behind me, touched angelina's hair and gave her a flying kiss! HAHA that was hilarious, toasted to the new year woopie
The music was loud and it was playing a whole lot of famous songs that we kept on singing too.
Atmosphere was pretty good as well, everybody was very spontaneous and high. I swear The time by black eyed peas just makes you wanna dance~
We went over to the performance area to watch and when the performance ended, they started to play dance music! damnn funnn shit hung around till bout 1.30am just dancing and singing! Awesome max (Y)
