Had a short trip to Batam just to relax the mind and take a break from school.

It was pretty cool- Great people around, fun filled activities, cute chef ^^, and of course, good food!

Now that I am back, it's time to start hell again.

Will be blogging bout Batam soon but for now, I just wanna nom nom on marshmellows, sit back and enjoy some youtube vids. Ah, shiok. But then tmr got work D: spoiler of the night, if not can sleep in till damn late again

It is a deceiving world, in the world of Mass Comm and one have to always be wary of anyone. I just feel that being in this course for one a half years has made me to realize that there are many dubious people around. Nothing personal happened to me, but through friends' experiences or gossips, I am quite afraid of offending anyone for fear that I maybe the trending topic on facebook or twitter. Back in secondary school, it was fine for me to shoot my mouth but in poly, there are certain things that I have to restrain from saying just in case, it get spread around :\ Thank god for the few friends that i know i can forever rely, trust and just be assured that I can talk all I want but it will always stay within them.

Anyhows, it's been such straining weeks that I have neglected my poor bloggy. I missed you!

But even in the midst of these rushy rushy days, I still managed to make some time for two freaking awesome movies!

Yeah baby, that's what im talking about! These two classic.

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS

Can't believe I caught harry potter two weeks after the released that because that is so late already. For the previous movies, I would be watching within the first week of release but ah, still watched it nonetheless. This series grew up with me and even though I am not a hardcore fan, it is a movie that cannot be missed because I will feel as though my life is not complete.

Was chitchatting with schoolmates about this movie and they blurted out some stuffs that I am totally not looking forward in the second part of the epic finale D: ahhhh, anyway I am starting the HP book marathon once again. The other time i tried, i failed miserably because I have so many books missing and was plain lazy.

RAPUZEL: A TANGLED TALE WAS (Y)(Y)

mann, it was so darn good! Everything was perfect, well what else to expect from Disney :D I loved everything, from the music (i always get goosebumps whenever rapunzel sings the song to make her hair glow) to the graphics and animation, from the plot to the details of every character (every single character in the movie was important). And of course, the creation of PASCAL. I love it so much!! Everytime pascal comes on screen, I have this fuzzy wuzzy instinct to want to put my hands out and grab it! (I was watching in 3D)

I want to watch Narnia as well. A pity that Peter will not be in it anymore, I had a major crush on him during the first movie :\

Ok, im done and want to catch up on my Amazing Race. Speaking about AR, i hate nick (the dude from the tatto couple) a lot. Feel like slapping his face everytime he comes on. Initially, i doubted their abilities to go far but they proved us wrong. But Nick is being such a bastard to Vikki, I wished they would get eliminated so that I do not have to watch him scolding or asking her to shut up when she did nothing wrong. Urgh, never want to have a boyfriend like that. ever.

Finally, I have some time to update this space.

School work's been suffocating me and I am so glad that I'm still alive.

So today at 10am was the deadline for feature writing and guess what, I time stamped by assignment at 9:59:28am. Win right? 32 sec later and 10% would be gone immediately! I ran like mad from the bus stop to FMS block feeling damn anxious, and phew FA1 is out of my life forever.

And of course, once one assignment is over, another one comes ;( Pop quiz this thurs, Web design assignment 2 this friday. How bad can it get??? I wish there were 30 hours a day. That way, there will be more than enough time to complete everything!

But whatever about that for now. If I am really caring about work, I wouldn't even bother to update something here.

I shall now proceed to share interesting updates of my life..........

SHAN AND ROZZ CAME OVER TO NP DURING OUR LECTURE WOO It was last monday and last last monday, i went to see david archuleta. And the thursday before archie was my birthday! Best consecutive weeks ever!

I freaking love ROZZ's style. So unique and one of a kind. Plus, her face looks softer in real life. Behind the screens, I thought her face looked really fierce in some angles and very tight. But I was so wrong, so wrong. SHAN on the other hand, was a giant. not exaggerating at all. When he came into the lecture theatre, I went from this -_- to o_o to O_O His legs were so long and.. slender?

ROZZ was the funnier one in my opinion, her jokes seemed so natural like she was born with a funny bone. There was one joke where Rozz was joking about Shan's height and it was super hilarious. There is this thumb and index finger theory wherby you put these in a shape of a gun. So, if you are a tall person, you put the index finger straight up (indicating your height) and the thumb would be the size of your "erhem". But if you were short, your thumb becomes your height and your index finger is whatever it is. lol

Great experience hearing them talk about their lives and insights about being a DJ.

Really considering certain things now, especially since year 3 is coming, and it would soon be time to make a decision on where I am going to intern :\ urgh, hate thinking about all this.

It's 12.40am now and I have lecture at 9 tmr morn. Have the strongest urge to skip it for sleep, sigh. My eyebags are HUGE and I woke up today with a "boxed" eye.

Busiest week ever.

Feels like shitload of work that can never be completed.

Best thing is, once i submit something, another assignment comes my way woopie!

I think I was so freaked out and stressed last night and the night before that when Elijah called me yst night, I went crazy.

Probably brain fried :( I just kept arguing and arguing but it felt gooood after it was over.

Like i have finally vented it all out heh

Two nights ago, I was so lost that i kept zoning out, staring into space and just kept sleeping..

If I were to be awake, I would probably zone out even more and just waste time. Might as well catch up on sleep right

But this semester will be over soon! Never felt this stress in a long long while

I am 18. I wanna learn driving. I do not feel like I am 18 at all. I am still young at heart. I don't act like I am 18. Am i supposed to behave like one? 18 sound old, it's like the age when you have outgrown your teenage hood and start looking forward to being a mature adult. 18 is just 3 years away from 21. Time really flies, and now I am wondering whether I have lead a good 18 years.

11/11 I love my birthdate so freaking much, next year would be DA BEST DATE in history! 11/11/11 WOOHOO

So anyway, my birthday was well-spent with surprises and the best people in the whole wide world!

On the eve of my birthday, Hayley Sow and Elijah Yeo (the two little devils) kept gaving me hints and told me to watch out on my birthday. So naturally, I thought that they MIGHT surprise me at 12midnight ( lol, high expectations : \ )

But, when the clock striked 12, Hayley was still on msn with me and Elijah was at home (because I heard his parent's voice).

So, I decided to call in a night and head to bed since school was sooo early the next morning. I was in deep slumber when my mom kept into my room. I thought it was time to wake up but apparently, she came in to get something. It was 2am at that time.

Went back to my dreamland but wasn't so fast asleep cause I was awoken just now. THEN, WHOEVER KNEW THAT TWO VERY FAMILIAR FIGURES APPROACHED ME IN THE DARK. I thought i was dreaming but the two body shapes were so so familiar. DUH, THE TWO DEVILS. LOL

I stunned on my bed then started OMG-ing. The next thing i knew, they kept towards me and spammed whip cream on my face!!!!!! HAHAHA they told me they were shocked too because i was supposed to be sleeping soundly not half awake (blame my mom!) Definitely not something I would expect in the middle of the night!

Time was 2.20am.

These two awesome people sacrificed their sleep to specially make their way down to my house to surprise me on my day ;'D *tears of joy* I feel so blessed and happy and touched with all my heart! Seriously!

Oh, my maid was in this thing too. Sneaky people, i say.

I was in my pyjamas and looking damn unglam! But I LIKE.

Actually the whip cream on my face was re-applied because I wiped off the ones they spammed me with.

They slept over at my house and I guess I am immune to Elijah's loudass snoring lol. Too bad there's school, if not i think I will stay awake the whole night.

3 hours late, rise and shine for school! Wasn't expecting much at school. Maybe a few wishes here and there.

Before lunch, I asked Calista if she wanted to join lunch with Avelyn, Kevin and Ryan (the usual peeps that i have lunch with).

She kept saying she had project meeting so ya, she went for her meeting. Or should I say, "meeting".

Decided to head over to KAP for macs. Went to buy food at the first level and made my way up to the second level.

Guess what, half of my class + Calista was waiting at the table with A CAKE!!!! OH BOY, EVERYONE'S SO NICE AND I WAS REALLY SURPRISED.

Ryan was the photographer and the photo quality is amazing!

I wish for a thousand more wishes. My mom said I looked like I was going to murder someone.

YAY I AM 18

They gave me a scheduler and in it, there were notes from each and everyone. So sincere :)

Yushan was so sweet too! She met me to specially pass me my birthday gift. It was so thoughtful and the gift was unique as well! I love it a lot and it brought back many memories~ We were so cute then!

Received a number of facebook wishes and I don't know why but I would not read and reply any till my birthday is ending.

Maybe I will for the first few, but I would want to wait then slowly read all. Although most are just a simple "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" wish, I am still very happy that at least people are willing to make the effort to click on my profile page and wish me!

Was in a dilemma if I should go queue for the autograph (but there was a long queue already so I was afraid although queue so long, cannot see D:), or just wait beside the barriers (will have good view but will be envious of people who can touch him). HOW? IN THE END JUST WAIT BY THE BARRIERS LOR

Cal, me, Ziana and her sister secured a good spot beside the barriers and we waited for his arrival.

One and half hour to spare and finally, the host said he was a minute walk away! Started screaming and getting damn excited!!

OMGOMG, JUST CANT WAIT.

AND HE'S HERE!! FINALLY HE WAS SO SMILEY AND ADORABLE THE WHOLE TIME!! *CRIES* HE IS 20 YEARS OLD, TWO YEARS OLDER THAN ME. I STILL HAVE A CHANCE HEH HEH. ARCHIE, LOVED YOU SINCE AMERICAN IDOL.

The autograph session started, and those girls/ guys have a freaking chance to shake hands with him and be so near to him. And all I could do was stand there, blocked by a freaking i-dont-know-what-that-thing-is and STARE.

Look at that face! Look! So cute right, so happy and cheerful. He had to smile for 1 hour plus!

CANNOT TAKE IT LIAO, ASKED ZIA HER SISTER CAL WHO WANT TO GO GET AUTOGRAPH. CAL WENT WITH ME, WE BOUGHT THE ALBUM AND STARTED QUEUEING. Didn't care if the time would be up or whatever, don't try won't even have the chance!!

Everytime I use my laptop, the first few letters I will type due to nature instinct would be F,a,c,e. And this would be followed by a new tab and the letters T,w,i,t.

This has been my daily routine and I would gladly say, I am addicted.

Addicted to sharing my thoughts with the rest of the world and just being a stalker

Currently, I am a year 2 Ngee Ann Polytechnic student in Mass Communication.

In that course, you MUST always be passionate in what you are doing or you will never survive.

Having completed 1 and a 1/2 year, I have dabbled in a variety of modules.

Design, marketing, communication skills. Whatever you name, you get it.

Had difficulties in the beginning of my poly life because I could not adapt but look at me now, I am very comfortable in what I am doing :D

Basically, I am well prepared for any hurdles and obstacles that come my way and will always find the motivation to overcome any!

I am so thankful that STANDARD CHARTERED BANK offered everyone a chance to have an internship of a lifetime! Of course, I would grab that opportunity and try my best!

Whatever happens, happens. But till then, I will wish every 11:11 that I will be chosen!

One man stuck in a coffin. What will you expect from this movie?

Heard so many conflicting reviews and I just couldn't wait to watch it.

I have to say that it was brilliant. From head to toe ;D

Ryan Reynolds acting was top notch as his every emotion had to seem real and trigger our emotions. Well, I thought he achieved that.

The plot was amazing as well. I guess the director's aim was to expose how irresponsible the police forces were and how cruel the Iraqi's could be. All these done with careful thoughts. (Y)

Two days ago was Halloween! I have never attended a party or went out in funky outfits before, so i was hoping this year would be different. Perhaps I could finally dress like a vampire or something. Unfortunately, there were no plans.

But! Hayley and Elijah chilled at my house and we started to do crazy things!

Jumping sessions, dancing to Brown Eyed Girls 'Abracadabra' (ELIJAH SHOOK HIS SEXAAYE BUTT!!- Too bad my handphone camera failed on me D: I would definitely make it a viral video. Okay, just kidding Eli), singing and guitaring together and of course, camwhoring.

Wonderful moments spent with amazing people AWWWWW :'D

Based on the fact that I have not blogged anything for a long while, I will TRY my best to come up with a lengthy post (Don't worry, its not gonna be a word vomit. There will be pictures to brighten up the day)

So let me rewind back to the beginning of october *enters a time machine*

Band performance for 10/10/10

So, I went back to Hougang Secondary School a number of times between late sept till 10th oct for rehearsals. Initially, i had the feeling that it was going to be tough. Not being able to play well in front of the juniors was embarrassing enough and I couldn't even buzz properly.

But i tried, and totally didn't regret it!

Had fun with the piece (Takarajima) although my lips were killing me. They were unforgivable, bleeding the moment i reached home D:

Best moments were the time spent with the rest of the Alumni.

It had been ages since everyone hanged out together, lunching at Pizza Hut, wearing the same shirt (intimidating people with our black and white outfit- there were 19 of us walking around) and just basically laughing and talking as a whole :) A pity that there were many others who weren't there but still...

I felt a little emotional (I dont know why!) when 10/10/10 was over because everyone bonded quite a lot and I don't know when would be the next time there will be such a gathering. Actually, I am sure there will be more to come but you never know. It will be fun-ner with more Alumni, for sure!

After that day, I cannot really remember what happened except that I had work a few times per week, went out for impromptu Karaoke at 11pm, kept whining that I wanted to watch Buried but always didn't get the chance to (either there were no more shows available, or the cinema had closed).

One of the latest outing was pretty enjoyable! I went out with Cal in the early afternoon till 4pm to camwhore around Marina Bay Sands and the Helix Brige. It was scorching hot and i swear, if the temperature increased by 1 more degree, I would have melted. I have a rough feeling how hell feels like :\

Anyway, we met and headed to MBS! When i entered, I felt that i had entered an optical illusion. Everything was everywhere and the design was uniquely unusual.

The glass windows were bent inwards and it gave me the feeling that it would collapse anytime. Scary much! It didn't feel so much like a hotel, but with luggages and foreigners everywhere, obviously it was.

There was this huge structure of some thin metal pieces stuck together. But I thought it kinda looked like pubic hair :\ Anyone agrees?

Finally headed out to the Helix Bridge to camwhore and Calista was seriously running for shelter. I was just strolling slowly behind. Was too lazy to run heehee.

And so, the phototaking session begins!

Was just experimenting with different shots from different angles on the Helix Bridge and out of no where pops a foreigner.

So firstly, she mentioned that she was passionate in photography (obviously she will have good camera skills) AND THEN she asked me to help her capture photos of her with the various LANDMARKS (i dk if this is the correct word). I tried my best to perfect the shots but i obviously still sucked. How can i even compareeeee?

I felt so bad because she was a visitor and wanted to snap the moment but i think i ruined it D:

And so finally, we went for our long awaited TAU HUEY! At a shop near Lasalle.

Now now, when you walk past the shop it will look like typical one selling average Tau Huey. But when you take your first scoop of it, you will gulp the whole thing down within seconds. That awesome!

And so by that time, it was already pretty late. Around 10 coming 11pm.

However, I heard that my auntie managed to get a room at the Marina Bay Sands (omg, 1000K per night)

Of course, me and Eli headed down...

Those balloons that I am holding are so pretty right? A pity that they are not real. It is actually part of the picture O.O

So Elijah and me skipped happily to MBS but we were minutes too late to visit the sky garden and the infinity pool. Vehlie der unfortunate...

We live by this motto! "One time cannot see, we try another time." Went back to MBS the next day since my auntie was still there.



That is the infinity pool if you are wondering what I am taking photo of. Pardon the quality because it was late in the night...and yes, i have turned on the flash.

Most people have been mentioning how gorgeous the infinity pool is and it was indeed very spectacular. Viewing the entire skyline of Singapore at such a marvelous height.

I am still impressed with the concept of the infinity pool but I really wished that I was in it. Stayed around there for a while to take in the cool breeze. Makes you feel like you have no worries at all!

School has started and it's the second day already. Call me weird, but I kinda want some assignments to start. I want my creative juices flowing in.. (I hope i dont regret saying this)

There are certain individual projects and one of them is regarding DESIGN. This word scares me especially after getting a grade D for Graphic Communication (which is also related to Design).

Perfect, D for Design.

Anyway, I want to prove to myself that I have the capabilities and that is why I am looking forward to conquering all these hurdles! *self motivation*
